The Graveyard Bookのファンフィクション by Moeさん

ファンフィクション(Fan-fic)という新しい企画の誕生です。ファンフィクがどういうものかは、こちらをご覧ください。ここで行うのはそこまでのものではなく、読書をした後に物語を分析したり、想像力を育て る助けになるエクササイズのようなものです。

下記は、MoeさんがThe Graveyard Bookを読んだ後で書いたファンフィクションです。

読んだ後で 話し合いはしましたが、私はまったく手を加えていません。Moeさんが書いたそのままです。

 

　　Bod was completely normal now. He sometimes had problem buying things but only that. He did not have anything to hurry for so he just rode a train and stopped when the train stopped. The time Bod lived in a graveyard was long forgotten.

 
    Bod stepped in another train. It said “To Scotland.” Bod thought that somebody special had said that name but he couldn’t remember. It gave him a kind of lonely feeling. As if that person and he had been separated for a long time. He looked out of the window. The sun was setting and the sky was a beautiful Scarlet. He watched the setting sun while the train stopped and went to his long forgotten love.
 
  As for Scarlet, she was sitting outside her house staring blankly at the train. Suddenly she stood up. A young handsome man came out. It was Bod. Scarlet smiled. She knew he would come back to get the message she had forgotten to say-sorry. Now everything was clear. Bod had saved Scarlet and the man’s life, but she had not realized it. Too soon, before she had even calmed, Bod’s memory had been erased. But no matter how hard Silas tried to erase Bod out of Scarlet’s memory, it always remained deep inside her. Only a miracle could pull the memories out, but there was a miracle! The lovers had met again.
 
  Bod had seen her too. At first, he was happy but then he remembered what Scarlet had said about him-a monster. He started to run away. When Scarlet whispered “sorry” very quietly. Then, he took Scarlet and sat in a nearby bench. They found no words for their happiness. They only sat and loved with all their might.
